Qualifications

• Master plumber’s license required by MA.
• Certified plumbing & gas inspector or 5 years’ MA experience with CE.
• Knowledge of plumbing installation and safety/code requirements.
• Knowledge of gas installation and safety/code requirements.
• Knowledge of MA code for gas installations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test plumbing, gas, water heating, and related systems for code compliance.
• Review plans for code compliance and provide comments to plumbers/builders.
• Issue permits for installation, alteration, repair, and sewer connections; keep records.
