Job summary

A&J Plumbing and Sewer Service is seeking a licensed Master Plumber with proven leadership to manage field teams and oversee plumbing projects. The role emphasizes permits, inspections, and strong customer service in a busy shop environment.

The ideal candidate should bring extensive plumbing installation experience, knowledge of codes, and a willingness to mentor others. Ownership potential is indicated for the right candidate, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and no after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Valid Master Plumbers License and Contractors License issued by the State of Michigan.
• 10-Years of demonstrated Plumbing installation experience.
• Ability to pull permits and participate for permit inspections.
• Strong Leadership, Interpersonal and communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to perform estimates when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs all plumbers and drain cleaners on a daily basis.
• Assigns jobs according to skillsets.
• Ongoing training and bi weekly meetings.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Maintain quality control.

Qualifications

Clean and current Drivers License. Strong Leadership, Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability and willingness to train others. Self motivated team leader with excellent knowledge of codes and problem solving skills. High School diploma or equivalent. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
