Dave's Heating and Air Conditioning - Sterling, VA is seeking a licensed master plumber to lead our plumbing initiatives as we launch a new division. You will diagnose and complete service calls, deliver on jobs promptly, and help build a team around you with our support.

The ideal candidate has five years of licensed master plumber experience in Virginia, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage technicians.

• Five years as a licensed master plumber with active Virginia license and good standing.
• Strong verbal and reading communication with residential customers, suppliers, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and efficiently complete plumbing jobs for customers.
• Deliver on jobs promptly and independently perform routine plumbing service.
• Assist in hiring and managing technicians to build the plumbing team.
• Consult with homeowners on new projects such as tankless conversions and other plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with the HVAC service manager to serve customers from a plumbing standpoint.
• Establish market-based price book, service protocols, warehouse stock, and vendor recommendations.

Duties:

As a master plumber we will count on you to be able to accurately diagnose and efficiently accomplish a job to the mutual benefit of the customer and Dave's Heating and Air Conditioning - Sterling, VA.

Deliver on jobs promptly and efficiently

Independently Perform routine plumbing service

Assist in hiring and managing other technicians to build out the plumbing team

Consult with homeowners on new projects such as tankless conversions and other plumbing projects

Perform related duties as directed by the Operation Manager

Collaborate with the HVAC service manager to serve Dave's customers from a plumbing standpoint.

Help guide the companies expansion into plumbing by establishing market based price book and service protocols as well as recommended truck stock, warehouse stock and vendor recommendations

Job Qualifications:

Five years as a licensed master plumber with active (and in good standing) Virginia license to associate Dave's Heating and Air Conditioning - Sterling, VA.

This is a long-term relationship with a solid compensation and bonus structure as we launch plumbing services

Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with residential customers, suppliers, and other Dave's Heating and Air Conditioning - Sterling, VA employees.

Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions found in Virginia.

Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his or her plumbing skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.

Current Virginia dmv operator's license and the ability to operate a work van upon initial employment. Applicant must be insurable by current Dave's Heating and Air Conditioning - Sterling, VA insurance carrier and will undergo a background check

Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
