Job summary

Edelman, Inc. is seeking a Lead Plumbing Installer to head complex residential projects in Illinois. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Compensation ranges from $25 to $45 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years of residential plumbing install experience, a valid Illinois Plumbing License, and the ability to work unsupervised on job sites. Tools must be supplied by the applicant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of residential plumbing install experience.
• Valid Illinois Plumbing License (Illinois Licensed Plumber credential per IDPH) required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Must supply your own tools to perform Install Level 5 work.

Responsibilities

• Own the Installation: manage complex residential plumbing installs end-to-end.
• Lead the Crew: supervise and train assistants and junior installers on site.
• Solve It on the Spot: provide solutions when plans change.
• Build to Code: install waste, vent, gas, and water piping per Illinois Plumbing Code.
• Deliver the Experience: communicate with homeowners and keep site clean.
• Run the Business Side: handle checklists, paperwork, and inventory.
