Job summary

A&J Plumbing and Sewer Service in Michigan is seeking a licensed Master Plumber to supervise 8-10 plumbers and oversee residential and minimal commercial work, ensuring all jobs meet code.

You will split time between the office and field, assist in writing accurate estimates, perform plumbing connections, troubleshoot on-site, and coordinate with an experienced operations team to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Active Master Plumber License (Michigan) with Plumbing Contractors License.
• Experience with residential plumbing installation and drain cleaning.
• Strong understanding of local plumbing codes.
• Ability to handle a high daily workload.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely.
• Familiarity with residential plumbing and drain cleaning experience, including teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
• A valid commercial driving license is preferred for transportation of materials to job sites.
• Previous maintenance person experience or maintenance skills will be considered an asset.
