Role summary: The (USA) Master Plumber, Facility Services, is responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems to ensure facility safety, functionality, and compliance with all applicable codes. This role involves diagnosing complex plumbing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and leading repairs while providing technical guidance to maintenance teams. The position requires managing work orders, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Master Plumber supports continuous improvement efforts and responds promptly to emergency situations, contributing to the overall operational excellence of Walmart’s facilities.

About the team: The team strategically deploys licensed plumbing professionals to minimize external service needs across multiple locations. Members perform preventive maintenance and repairs using expertise in plumbing, carpentry, and equipment handling. They manage schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborating effectively, the team addresses facility requirements promptly, supports ongoing improvements, and upholds company values through integrity and accountability. What you’ll bring:

  • Proven expertise in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, waste disposal, and gas lines.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing codes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading and mentoring plumbing teams, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Strong skills in preventive maintenance, emergency response, and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Proficiency in managing work orders, schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination.
  • Commitment to safety standards, OSHA and EPA regulations, and maintaining a safe work environment.

The hourly wage range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location
