1-Tom-Plumber Ft Lauderdale is seeking a Master Plumber / Estimator to diagnose plumbing needs, build accurate estimates, and help customers decide on solutions. The role partners with vendors and the field team to scope work, price jobs, and support project execution.

Qualified candidates will read plans, ensure compliance with codes, and mentor junior staff as needed. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential in this hands-on leadership position.

Qualifications

• Licensed plumber with knowledge of local codes.

• Able to read plans/blueprints and understand project specs.

Master Plumber / Estimator

The Master Plumber is responsible for diagnosing plumbing needs, creating accurate estimates, and helping customers make confident decisions. This role works closely with vendors and the field team to scope work, price jobs, and support successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Licensed plumber with knowledge of local plumbing codes


• Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills


• Able to read plans/blueprints and understand project specs


• Organized, reliable, strong follow-through


• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential and commercial plumbing systems and recommend solutions

• Communicate scope clearly with customers and internal teams

• Follow up on open/unsold estimates


• Support purchasing and field teams as projects move forward


• Follow safety standards and plumbing/building codes


• Attend meetings and mentor other plumbers as needed

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, bend, climb ladders, and work from heights


• Able to work in hot/cold weather, confined spaces, loud environments


• Wears PPE as required
