Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Planning Manager for its Montville, NJ office. The ideal candidate will develop and execute master production schedules for the Marine production line, ensuring customer demand is met efficiently. Responsibilities include leading a team, managing forecasts, and overseeing all material management from planning to product shipment.

This position emphasizes leadership and expertise in MRP systems, production planning, and strong communication skills. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience and APICS or CPIM certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in planning/scheduling in fast-paced mixed product manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems and LEAN Manufacturing principles.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage accurate forecasts.
• Lead weekly production meetings.
• Manage a team of planners and material coordinators.
• Ensure team is planning properly by monitoring bookings.
• Manage work order material flow from inception through completion.
