Job summary

System One is seeking a Master Painter to perform advanced interior and exterior painting in Vienna, VA on a contract basis. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of professional painting experience and the ability to pass criminal and credit background checks.

This onsite position operates Monday through Friday with W2 payroll. Candidates will coordinate materials, train junior painters, and ensure safety and quality on all projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, primers, stains, and finishes.
• Experience with drywall repair, patching, caulking, and wall preparation.
• Ability to operate lifts, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work orders.
