Job summary

Kemp Quarries Inc. is seeking a Mechanic Master to maintain, repair, and support our mobile equipment and crushing fleet. The role emphasizes safety, technical expertise, and the ability to work in demanding environments.

The candidate should have 3+ years of heavy equipment experience, strong troubleshooting skills across engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics and use CAT ET.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related mechanical experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Welding skills helpful; CDL beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and regulations (MSHA/DOT).
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment.
• Maintain crushing and mobile equipment fleet.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles.
• Perform welding, brazing, and cutting as needed.
• Communicate repairs and equipment status to shop.
