Job summary

Transmission & Distribution World is seeking a Master Mechanic/Electrician for the Eaton, OH area. This is an hourly full-time third shift (7pm–7am) role requiring every-other-weekend work and a location at Eaton Container, 900 State Route 35 West, Eaton, OH 43050.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, perform repairs, and plan maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. A strong background in pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and forklift safety is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Experience in a corrugated facility is strongly preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety and PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives. Make necessary repairs to drives and their control system use.
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
• Follow up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are performed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

$36.79/hr. plus differential

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time- Third shift position-7pm-7am (12-hour shift rotation with a requirement to work every other weekend).
