Job Summary

Immediate hiring! Are you meticulous and experienced in automotive repair, including box trucks? Join Avis Budget Group! You will perform standard and complex repairs, including warranty work, on various makes and models, such as cargo vans and box trucks. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, air conditioning, and computer systems. You may also serve as a technical expert and drive Budget Trucks on public roads.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C)
• Minimum 3 years of auto repair experience with 3 ASE certifications (aim to acquire 2 more within the first year)
• Knowledge in areas covered by ASE, including engine repair, drive train, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and engine performance, Light Vehicle/Diesel
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions near a mechanical shop with moderate noise
• Own a complete set of auto repair tools
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
• At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• On-site presence required; remote work not possible
• Previous OEM experience is preferred
