Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a seasoned Master Mechanic with 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience focused on controls and electrical systems.

The role requires troubleshooting complex electronics, interpreting electrical prints, and supporting production with weekend/holiday shifts as needed. Candidates should have a technical two-year degree or equivalent hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Rockwell software, Allen‑Bradley PLCs, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience with a focus on Controls and Electrical, or a combination of a two-year technical degree from a certified technical institution and relevant experience.
• General knowledge in Rockwell software and Allen Bradley PLCs
• Must be able to troubleshoot complex electronic systems
• Must have good problem-solving skills in troubleshooting/understanding plant processes
• Should be able to interpret electrical prints
• Incumbent must be highly motivated, value continuous learning and be adaptable to a changing work environment

Responsibilities

• Analyzes trends and operating parameters on various electrical systems and equipment to identify potential or impending failures and to ensure plant is running at optimal efficiency
• Must be able to support production work schedule, including weekend and holiday shift work when necessary
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates initiative and possess the ability to multi-task
• Must be able to work independently and as an effective team member
