Job summary

Texas Hydraulics Inc. is seeking a Machinist II to set up and run conventional, special-purpose, and NC machines, producing quality parts that meet prints and tolerances. You will work from blueprints and specifications, adjust machine parameters, and verify program accuracy to ensure first-time quality.

You will collaborate with engineers and production teammates, participate in Lean initiatives, and uphold safety and workmanship standards in a hands-on shop environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of machining experience or equivalent education and hands-on work.
• Proven mastery as Machinist I, ready to operate at Machinist II level.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CNC operation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specs, and samples to understand dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up machines, fixtures, tools, and materials for production.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth of cut to meet specs.
• Load and edit CNC programs as needed and verify program accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts for print and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to solve machining issues.
