SpectraCare Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Therapist to join the In Home Intervention Team serving Geneva County, Alabama.

The position is based at the Geneva County Clinic in Geneva, with Monday–Friday hours 8am–5pm and flexible scheduling to meet family and program needs. The role involves leading the IHI team, evaluating referrals, conducting interviews, and coordinating services while maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• One year experience in child and adolescent or family therapy.
• Completion of a clinical practicum.
• Two years post-master experience preferred.
• LPC licensure preferred.
• Willingness to attend Child and Adolescent Case Management and In-Home Intervention training.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Good driving record (MVR).
• Insurability to drive a system vehicle (21+).

Responsibilities

This position will be based out of our Geneva County Clinic in Geneva, Al

• Serving as the team leader and providing services to families involved in the IHI project
• Responsible for evaluating referrals, assist with and perform interviews, and planning services
• Serve as a liaison for IHI Project families with community agencies and the public.
• Overseeing, maintaining and performing designated documentation in client records according to standards
• Provides crisis intervention and/or conflict resolution
• Some travel may be required within the 5 county catchment area

Requirements:

• A Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field is required
• One year experience in child and adolescent or family therapy required
• Completion of a clinical practicum
• Two years Post Master experience in a mental health setting preferred
• LPC licensure is preferred
• Must be willing to attend Child and Adolescent Case Management and In-Home Intervention training
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must have a good MVR
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age).
