Job summary

Vertical Mag in Everett, WA is seeking licensed master mechanics for a brand-new project. This turn-key role requires A&P and airframe experience, with duties spanning heavy structure repair and documentation per FAA requirements.

You will mentor junior mechanics, review drawings and SRMs, and perform complex repairs on A319/320/321 aircraft, reporting progress to the maintenance leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have A&P license and airframe experience.
• Experience on A319/320/321 within last 3 years.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark dimensions, layout patterns, and templates, fabricate parts, repair or replace heavy structure aircraft components.
• Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering authorizations, structural repair manuals, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
• Provide accurate documentation on customer paperwork per FAA requirements.
• Mentor/non-licensed mechanics and sign off their repairs; communicate progress and issues with team leaders.
