Job summary

Schneider National in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Master Enterprise Architect to guide Schneider's future-state architecture, technology strategy, and roadmaps, ensuring investments align with business goals.

The role leads data, applications, platforms, infrastructure, analytics, automation and emerging technologies, delivering secure, scalable, and business-aligned solutions. You will mentor architects, influence executives, and partner across teams to set standards and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• 12+ years of information technology experience.
• Experience with enterprise data architecture, data governance frameworks, master data management, analytics platforms, AI/ML ecosystems and information lifecycle management.
• Ability to influence executives and stakeholders to align on strategy and direction.
• Expert knowledge of modeling across multiple domains (database, infrastructure, information management, business processes).
• Advanced architectural skills and pragmatic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data architecture and information governance strategy.
• Enable enterprise AI capabilities with data architecture, governance, quality and accessibility practices.
• Develop and maintain enterprise technology roadmaps aligning business strategy with capabilities and infrastructure.
• Partner across business and technology to align objectives with enterprise priorities.
• Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, technology lifecycles and governance practices.
• Evaluate portfolios to align with business priorities and future-state roadmaps.
• Serve as a technology leader and trusted advisor, mentoring architects and technical teams.
• Analyze courses of action and make recommendations.
