Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay, WI seeks a Master Enterprise Architect to oversee next-generation architecture, create 3–5 year roadmaps, manage large data sets and digitize the organization. The role acts as an internal consultant, mentor, and change agent to ensure tech investments drive business outcomes.

You will mentor associates, define lifecycle strategies, and collaborate with architects to align roadmaps with business needs. Strong modeling and governance expertise required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of information technology experience.
• Expert in modeling in multiple domains (database, infrastructure, information management, business processes).
• Advanced architectural skills, including the ability to formulate and execute pragmatic solutions to unique and complex problems.
• Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
• Knowledge of financial modeling regarding IT costs and investments.
• Able to develop strategies and direction for business solutions while using multiple technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create strategies that support an efficient and secure tech environment to meet Schneider’s needs.
• Define life cycles that help determine when technologies and standards will be changed or transitioned out.
• Consult on various projects and formulate optimal solutions by staying up to date on technology capabilities and business needs.
• Ensure applications are scalable, adaptable and synchronized with changing business needs.
• Research technologies to recommend enhancements to the enterprise.
• Collaborate with other architects to ensure an overall architecture roadmap alignment.
• Articulate the benefits and relevance of concepts, products and technologies to diverse audiences.
• Lead the effort to align business needs with technology investments.
• Provide mentorship to other associates.
