They are also responsible for completing any repairs that can be handled in‑house and coordinating with our preferred vendors for equipment that cannot be repaired internally.

The ME will work with project managers and contractors to ensure the correct equipment is deployed for each show, as well as perform any necessary pre‑programming to allow for efficient on‑site deployment. They will adhere to Sightlines’ standards and practices for show preparation prior to deployment and proper de‑preparation once equipment is returned to the shop.

The position is hourly, nonexempt, full‑time, in‑person. It predominantly works in a warehouse or show site environment and involves physically moving heavy equipment. The role must stand for long periods and lift 50lbs with assistance. Local travel and occasional driving of company vehicles are required; nationwide travel is an opportunity but not required. The Master Electrician / System Tech reports to the Director of Operations.

  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Team to report damaged or malfunctioning gear and recommend repair or replacement needs.
  • Manage inventory by accurately checking equipment in and out and maintaining organized storage areas.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring equipment is safely packed and secured for transport.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the warehouse and work areas.
  • Work with approved vendors and service providers for repairs that cannot be completed in‑house.
  • Support event operations as needed, including on‑site technical assistance or setup.
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.

  • Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
