Job summary

Our client, a power generation service company, seeks a licensed Master Electrician to support standby and prime power for hospitals, data centers, and utilities. You will install, integrate, and troubleshoot generators, ATS, and switchgear, lead startups, and mentor teammates on-site.

Qualifications

• Class II (Unrestricted) Electrical Contractor License is required.
• Solid commercial and/or industrial electrical experience is required.
• Valid driver's license, able to meet DOT requirements, and willingness to travel regionally.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle electrical installation, integration, and troubleshooting for generators, ATS, and switchgear.
• Lead system startups and commissioning, and guide customers through equipment operation.
• Diagnose and repair generator systems, including engines, alternators, and controls (training provided).
• Lead planned maintenance projects and ensure work meets OEM and company standards.
• Mentor and support technicians, acting as on-site electrical subject-matter expert.
• Coordinate with scheduling, dispatch, and parts to keep jobs moving.
• Represent the company on site, building trust and repeat business with customers.
• Enforce OSHA and NFPA safety standards on every jobsite.
