Job summary

Uniform Color is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to design, install, and maintain electrical systems across diverse settings. You will troubleshoot complex circuits, interpret blueprints, and mentor apprentices while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Role requires six years of maintenance experience and proficiency with AC/DC drives, PLC logic, and wiring panels. On-site position with opportunities for process improvement and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a Master Electrician.
• Six years or more maintenance experience.
• Proficient in equipment electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in electrical panel install and equipment wiring.
• Trained and capable of reading PLC ladder logic.
• Understanding of twin-screw extruders and injection molding theory.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on machines and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Implement continuous improvement projects to improve reliability.
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480/277V, 240/120V, and 24V circuits.
• Inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions and install parts as needed.
• Develop and interpret electrical blueprints for new equipment layouts and installation sequences.
• Mentor and participate in Uniform Color’s Electrical apprenticeship program.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed and contribute to safety meetings.
