Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Electrician for a pharmaceutical client site in Durham. You will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, support preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of critical systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical distribution, panels, motors, lighting, UPS, generators, and BAS interfaces; reviewing maintenance records to plan preventive schedules; and delivering efficient service while adhering to CBRE standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• 3–4 years of job-related electrical experience.
• Master Electrician license required per local codes.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical and lighting systems' operation, repair, and maintenance; perform new installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, panels, breakers, transformers, motors, VFDs, and control circuits.
• Support operation and maintenance of critical systems: UPS, backup generators, BAS interfaces.
