Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Master Electrician to install, repair, and maintain a wide range of electrical equipment at our Texas facilities. The role requires diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with site teams to ensure electrical systems meet NEC and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of commercial electrical experience, an active license, and the ability to work all shifts, travel between sites, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• 4+ years of work experience in commercial equipment maintenance and repair.
• Active electrician’s license.
• Trade school certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install or repair electrical equipment such as motor control centers, transformers, switchboards, controllers, and circuit breakers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on panels, server rooms, and other electrical systems.
• Determine circuitry location and load, isolate faults, and implement changes.
• Read schematics/blueprints and work with on-site facilities teams on planning and scheduling.
• Lead and mentor fellow electricians on project work as needed.
