Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent with electrical training.
• Minimum four years installing, maintaining and repairing complex electrical systems.
• One year troubleshooting emergency standby generators preferred.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and electrical safety standards.
• Licensure: Texas Journeyman Electrician License required; Master Electrician License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates installation, replacement, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment, lighting, and circuits.
• Plan and develop maintenance renovation project specifications.
• Estimate time and materials for projects.
• Review wiring layouts for code compliance and safety.
• Maintain records and prepare repair/service reports.
• Coordinate training and inspection of electricians when needed.
• Respond to work orders and support other crafts.
