Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician to inspect, repair, and maintain electrical and lighting systems across assigned facilities in the United States.

The role covers preventive maintenance, equipment installations, and adherence to safety and electrical standards while supporting a team-driven service approach. The position requires a Master Electrician license, a high school diploma or trade school credential with 3–4 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or a trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
• Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Understanding of electrical procedures and standards to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems.
• Execute new equipment installations.
• Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems.
• Ensure that equipment is being maintained and operating safely.
• Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Possess expertise in your own job field and some understanding of various other job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Influence the quality of your own work and that of others on the team.
• Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Simplify complex information and explain to others.
