Job summary

Orange Electric is seeking a licensed Utah Commercial Master Electrician to lead projects, mentor crews, and advance a career with a growing company. Expect responsibilities across commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and service work.

You will read diagrams and blueprints, diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure safety standards are upheld while coordinating with project managers and customers. Valid license and clean MVR required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Utah Commercial Master Electrician required.
• Strong commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Thorough understanding of NEC and local codes.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR; pre-employment drug screening possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and service work.
• Read, interpret, and follow electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Mentor journeymen and apprentices; provide guidance to crews.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Apply extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Read, interpret, and follow electrical diagrams, schematics, specifications, and blueprints.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Communicate technical information clearly with customers, contractors, project managers, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all industry safety standards and company policies.
• Monitor and verify quality control and consistency of work performed.
• Perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision.
• Read and prepare proposals, business correspondence, technical procedures, schedules, reports, and project documentation.
• Proficiently measure, cut, bend, and thread conduit and electrical raceways using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Oversee commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and service work.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to journeymen and apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Commercial Master Electrician License (Required).
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, and code requirements.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in a variety of commercial, industrial, indoor, and outdoor environments.
