This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Master Electrician to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. In this role, you will be part of the acquisition management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Foreman or Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors for the electrical crew.
- Evaluate electrical service execution for compliance with contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors on scope.
- Maintain short-range look-ahead plans and discuss deviations with the General Foreman or Superintendent.
- Review and monitor cost and man-hour budgets for the installation process, develop equipment and tool requirement plans, and review them with the General Foreman or Superintendent.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems: diagnose problems within electrical circuitry under supervision, utilizing advanced troubleshooting skills and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems.
- Operate test and calibration equipment to assess and ensure proper function of electrical components.
- Interpret technical documentation: read and comprehend systems circuit diagrams, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Perform electrical services: provide limited service, repair, calibration, and tuning of electrical control systems under supervision.
- Maintain system components according to scheduled maintenance plans and operational requirements.
- Adhere to safety standards: follow all workplace safety protocols, especially when handling electrical equipment.
- Document work activities: maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and replacements.
- Enhance skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Required:
- TS/SCI clearance with willingness to sit for a polygraph upon request.
- Minimum 8 years of experience within the IC or DoD.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Master Electrician License.
- 8+ years experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Understanding of electrical systems, energy management, and safety regulations.
- Experience as an Electrical Controls Mechanic Senior or similar role.
- Vocational or technical training in electrical systems.
- Safety certifications in electrical safety, OSHA standards, etc.
- Experience leading teams of electricians or trades personnel.
- Ability to optimize technical and operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
Basic: $67,600 - $101,400 (for Maryland area)
The actual rate will depend on experience and internal parity.
Additional Compensation: Bonuses, incentives, sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, etc., as per company policy.
