Programmers.io in New York is seeking a Senior Data Management Engineer with deep MDM experience to design and implement Golden Records for key domains. You will lead end-to-end MDM initiatives, choosing platforms like Reltio and integrating them with AWS services for scalable data ingestion and governance.
Responsibilities include building automated ETL/ELT pipelines, defining match/merge rules, and ensuring data quality across enterprise data domains.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Management Engineer with a strong background in Master Data Management (MDM) and hands‑on experience implementing solutions within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement MDM solutions to create a single source of truth (Golden Record) for Customer, Product, or Vendor domains. You will be a key contributor in integrating MDM platforms with AWS native services, building automated data pipelines, and ensuring data quality across the enterprise.
Informatica MDM knowledge or experience is preferred and will be considered an added advantage
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) implementations, with at least 2-3 years hands‑on experience in a cloud‑native environment.
MDM Tools: Strong experience with industry-leading MDM tools (e.g., Reltio).
AWS Proficiency: Proven hands‑on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, IAM, and API Gateway.
Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data manipulation and automation.
Data Governance: Solid understanding of data stewardship, data lineage, and data quality principles.
Data Modeling: Experience in relational database modeling and JSON/XML data formats.
Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, Solutions Architect) is plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
