Master Data Analyst - 100% Remote

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data within enterprise systems such as SAP and Oracle. The analyst will also support ongoing initiatives focused on improving data quality and integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain master data in alignment with business rules and data governance policies.
  • Perform routine data validations and ensure data integrity across multiple systems and business functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and address data-related requests.
  • Support data cleansing and enrichment activities during system migrations and integration projects.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and assist in reporting and resolving anomalies.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain up-to-date process documentation.
  • Participate in data audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Escalate data discrepancies and governance concerns to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in data management, preferably within a business or ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling data.
  • Basic understanding of master data domains such as materials, vendors, and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) and other standard data tools.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP (MM/SD modules).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
  • Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
