Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Master Data Specialist in the US to manage SAP master data, ensure data quality, and support production and logistics with accurate material records.

You will collaborate with design, purchasing, and engineering teams to drive data accuracy and implement governance standards in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Master Data Management, Systems, Computer Science, Business, Operations Research or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Master Data or SAP Master Data roles, specifically material master and BOM.
• Experience with transactional data, reference data and entity management.
• Ability to implement data governance and standards.
• Knowledge of Intelligent Autom products is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, testing and implementation of new SAP Master Data processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data is complete, accurate, and timely.
• Create and maintain material master records across multiple production plants to support production and logistics.
• Execute engineering/product changes in SAP and other tools.
• Advise design, purchasing, industrial engineering, and logistics on SAP master data processes and product structures.

What You Will do in This Role:

• Familiar with Technical Master Data areas of SAP.
• Assist with the design, testing and implementation of new processes and/or enhancements to the systems that support Technical Master Data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data is complete, accurate, and timely, using data quality procedures and standards.
• Create and maintain material master records in multiple production plants to enable production and logistics processes.
• Execute engineering/product changes in SAP and other tools.
• Ensure product data quality in Bill of Materials and material masters based on information of charted drawings and other product documentation.
• Advise design, purchasing, industrial engineering, and logistics in all questions concerning SAP master data processes and product structures.

What We're Looking For

• BA/BS in Master Data Management, Systems, Computer Science, Business, Operations Research / Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Master Data / Systems Role, SAP Master Data experience, especially in material master record and bill of material.
• Experience working with transactional data, reference data and entity management.
• Ability to implement data governance and standards.
• Knowledge in Intelligent Autom Products desired, but not required.
• Enjoys operating in a fast-paced team environment under time constraints.
• Has strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to details.
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse groups, subject matter experts and vendor resources.
