Tonkin Acura in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Master Technician to join our high-performing service team. You will diagnose and repair Acura vehicles, focusing on quality work and customer satisfaction.

We offer flat rate pay of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, state-of-the-art equipment, ongoing factory training, and a supportive shop culture. Prior master tech experience and ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master Certified Technician with Acura/Honda or import brand experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid ASE certifications preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Acura vehicles.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, suspension, and brake repairs.
• Document repair orders clearly and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain Acura certification requirements and stay current with new technologies.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.

Qualifications: Master Certified Technician Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Master Technician or equivalent senior-level automotive technician
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Valid ASE certifications preferred
• Acura, Honda, or import brand experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• A proven track record as a Master Technician in the automotive industry
• Exceptional diagnostic and repair skills
• A deep understanding of automotive systems and technology
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
