Qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing equipment, and other carpentry tools.
  • Extensive construction site experience including framing, drywall installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, and fixture installation.
  • Knowledge of restoration techniques such as mold remediation and rebar installation is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on power tool safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of wood construction materials and their appropriate use in residential settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex construction plans and technical drawings accurately.
  • Valid experience in remodeling projects or the restoration industry is highly desirable.
  • You should be proficient in: Sealing/Caulking Finish and Rough Carpentry millwork residential construction

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machines.
  • Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, drywall installation, caulking, stucco, flooring, tile, and fixture installation on residential sites.
  • Manage heavy lifting safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols during all phases of construction.
  • Contribute to restoration tasks such as concrete forming, plastering, water damage restoration, and mold remediation when needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely remodeling project completion with quality craftsmanship.
