You will use hand and power tools, read plans, and install structures, cabinets, flooring, doors, and trim. Candidates must meet basic education and safety requirements, with the ability to travel to various facilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • One year work experience in carpentry or demonstrated knowledge and ability with carpentry tools.
  • Mathematical ability including basic arithmetic and measurements.
  • May be required to own, use, and maintain tools.
  • Ability to manage materials, time, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety rules.
  • Effective communication with customers, vendors and team.

Responsibilities

  • Use carpenter’s tools and equipment to maintain and repair woodwork and fixtures.
  • Measure, mark, and cut materials to specified dimensions.
  • Assemble, install, and finish structures, cabinets, flooring and hardware.
  • Inspect and repair ceilings, walls, doors, and woodwork for quality and safety.
  • Read blueprints or sketches to lay out projects and determine materials.
  • Document service orders and progress notes accurately and timely.
  • Follow procedures and guidelines to minimize errors and risks.
  • Communicate with customers about work performed and next steps.
