Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Carpenter to construct rough wooden structures per blueprints and sketches, including concrete forms and supports. The candidate must follow safety protocols and bring basic tools to the site.

The position requires working outdoors in all weather, with potential elevation tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience with vertical and horizontal forms is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
