Job description

As the Carpenter, you will perform carpentry duties necessary to maintain building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, and doors. Your work involves:

1. Planning and laying out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions.
2. Using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
3. Making standard shop computations related to dimensions of work.
4. Selecting materials necessary for the work.

The role generally requires rounded training and experience, usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
