Vance Airscoop in Cape May, NJ, seeks a part-time Master Captain (Nautical) to run our popular seasonal eco boat tours aboard a 38' pontoon boat out of Cape May and Stone Harbor. Candidates must hold USCG Merchant Mariner Credentials with a 25 ton inland waterways endorsement, be able to engage passengers with wildlife and landmarks info, and handle docking in windy, tidal conditions.

Paid training is provided; tours run May through October with tips and a potential higher rate for experienced

Popular seasonal birding and wildlife eco boat tour business seeking a part-time, seasonal Master Captain (Nautical) with minimum 25 ton inland waterways endorsement United States Coast Guard certification to run eco tours on a 38' pontoon boat out of Cape May and Stone Harbor.

Science or teaching background is preferred. Must be able to engage with customers throughout the tours providing interesting information and facts about local wildlife and landmarks unique to the area.

Docking experience in windy and changing tidal conditions is necessary.

Random drug screening required upon job acceptance.

Paid training with the primary captain/owner of this vessel.
