Job summary

Merritt in Blue Ash, Ohio is seeking a Master Cabinet Maker for an onsite role. You will assemble high-end millwork and joinery using pre-machined components, following detailed Millwork drawings, and operate multiple woodworking machines to deliver quality finishes.

The position requires teamwork, precise workmanship, and the ability to lift lightweight parts. Overtime beyond normal hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of woodworking and general assembly techniques.
• Skilled use of sanders, glue machines, banders, and hand tools.
• Correctly perform all aspects of routine work, meeting quality standards and requirements.
• Must be able to achieve results in an accurate and timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, managers, and others.
• Be able to share knowledge and ideas with others on the team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble millwork and casework following construction drawings.
• Use assembly machinery and tools (table saw, chop saw, router, drill, band saw).
• Hinge boring and insertion; hardware installation and reassembly of finished products.
• Assist in adding base, trim, crown moldings to components.
• Maintain shipping awareness and adjust work capacity as required.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
