Job summary

Secession Golf Club Inc is seeking an experienced bartender to support our bar operations on-site. You will greet guests, prepare drinks, and maintain clean and organized work areas while following approved recipes.

The role requires strong communication, ability to handle multiple tasks, and adherence to sanitation standards. Weekend and holiday hours may apply, with opportunities for steady, year-round shifts at our club.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Current Bartending licensing / TIPS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspects bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Greets guests upon arrival.
• Mixes, prepares, and serves drinks according to recipes approved by Food and Beverage Director.
• Maintains records of liquor, beer, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
• Monitors daily inventory and usage to see which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand.
• Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures.
• Complies with all state and local laws pertaining to the sales and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
• Performs month end inventories.
• Takes food and beverage orders of members and guests as needed.
