Job summary

AutoNation in Florida is seeking a Master Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, complete inspections, document work, and stay current with factory bulletins and OEM certification training. Join a nationwide network with growth opportunities and competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order, to dealer and factory standards, with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make recommendations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of tools not normally inventoried by Service as special tools.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training.
