Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, diagnose issues, and perform authorized repairs to ensure safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include conducting multi-point inspections, documenting work on repair orders, and maintaining a toolbox of essential tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• ASE/OEM Certification is preferred or required depending on store needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order, to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs if authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document all work on the repair order and maintain tools inventory.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and training classes; provide an exceptional customer experience.
