Job summary

Tire Outlet in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a Master Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles per MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards.

You will work at least five days per week, including Saturdays, with competitive Bi-Weekly Pay and opportunities for advancement, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE Certification preferred or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to appropriate certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the inspection/repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (store manager, service consultants, customers).
• Recommends necessary services to keep the vehicle running, documents recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

The Master Automotive Technician/ Mechanic is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Tire Outlet Automotive standards.

COMPENSATION:

Starting from $30-$50+ flag hour depending on experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training
• Possess valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's
