Job summary

United Future in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, helping the shop grow from A-Level Technician to Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or Technical Manager. The role offers $45-$55/hour with weekly pay, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, no weekends.

80 hours PTO, 72 hours paid sick time, 6 holidays, health insurance (employer pays 50%), and a signing/retention bonus up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level/Master-level mechanical skills; transmission experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Drivability concerns diagnosis.
• Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement.
• Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair.
• Complex repairs other technicians may not be equipped to handle.
• General A-Level automotive repair when needed.

What We Offer

You'll have the independence to diagnose vehicles properly and recommend the right repair every time.
