Job summary

Anderson Ford South is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our Lincoln-area team. This role offers growth opportunities and a supportive environment within a family-owned group, with paid vacations and no weekend work.

As part of our automotive service team, you will diagnose, repair, and test vehicles, communicate with the Service Advisor, and provide accurate estimates for additional work. A strong automotive background and a valid driver’s license are required.

• Strong automotive background required.
• Clean and valid driver's license
• Strong teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
