Job summary

Anderson Ford South in Lincoln, NE is hiring motivated Service Technicians to grow with a family-owned group serving eight locations in Nebraska and Missouri.

You will perform repairs per repair orders, test-drive vehicles, diagnose automotive systems, and communicate with the Service Advisor about timing and needed additional work. We offer paid vacations, education programs, a 401k match, and comprehensive medical to vision coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional work and estimated completion times.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:
