Job summary

LeadCar GMC Utica seeks an experienced Master-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. This role focuses on advanced diagnostics, electrical and drivability work, and delivering quality repairs the first time. We offer training and growth in a busy GM-focused shop.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, documenting, and staying current with manufacturer bulletins. Strong mentoring skills and dealership experience preferred; sign-on up to $10,000 may apply based on

Qualifications

Three+ years of professional automotive repair experience required.
Master Technician-level experience with advanced diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to perform in a flat-rate service environment.
Valid driver's license with clean record; able to operate automatic/manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of drivability, electrical, mechanical, and performance concerns.
Complete repairs per dealership and manufacturer standards.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to service advisors and management.
Maintain accurate repair documentation and warranty information.
