Job summary

Lexus of Shreveport is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing advanced mechanical and electrical issues, providing expert service and solutions for our customers.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of automotive experience, ASE Master certification (A1-A8) preferred, and strong knowledge of modern electrical systems. Hybrid/electric diagnostics experience is a plus, with a commitment to quality and

Qualifications

4+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
ASE Master Automotive Technician (A1-A8) certification preferred.
Manufacturer/OEM certifications and dealership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical and electronics systems.
Hybrid and/or electric vehicle diagnostic experience is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage complex repairs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle concerns including engine, transmission, electrical/electronic, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and drivability systems.
Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and service information.
Complete repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Test-drive and perform comprehensive system testing to verify repairs.
Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer policies and specs.
Interpret diagnostic data and wiring diagrams; communicate findings clearly to the Service Advisor.
Provide accurate repair time estimates and maintain detailed repair documentation.
Pursue ongoing training to stay current with vehicle technology.
Serve as a resource to other technicians as needed.
