Job summary

Hometown Garage in Portland, CT is seeking an experienced A-Level or Master Automotive Technician to join our growing team serving the greater Hartford area.

You will handle advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, drivability concerns, and complex engine repairs in a well-equipped shop with a loyal customer base.

We offer top pay with starting at $40+ per hour, Monday-Friday schedule, health insurance, paid vacation, and a modern shop with DVI technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong experience with engine performance, electrical systems, drivability diagnostics, and complex mechanical repairs.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• Formal automotive training preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Diagnose drivability concerns and engine performance issues.
• Carry out complex engine repairs with a focus on quality.
• Maintain a well-equipped workshop and accurate digital records.
