Job Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and repair specifications including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
2. Perform duties of lower-level technicians (Technician A, B, Mechanic, General Service Technician).
3. Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff clearly.
4. Stay updated with new automotive technologies through training.
5. Assist colleagues in technical tasks.
6. Report mechanical issues to management promptly.
7. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
8. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. At least 5 years of automotive diagnosis and repair experience.
3. 8+ ASE certifications (A1-A8) preferred.
4. Section 609 Certification required.
5. State Inspection license if applicable.
6. Customer-focused with high motivation and energy.
7. Valid driver’s license.
8. Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
9. Physical ability to perform extensive standing, walking, lifting over 50 pounds, and working outdoors.

Work Environment

Requires physical stamina for standing, reaching, bending, and lifting. May involve exposure to weather, chemicals, and dust. Vision abilities needed include close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
