The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Master Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry.

Located at Napleton Italian Imports (Napleton Fiat of Indianapolis, Napleton Alfa Romeo of Indianapolis, Napleton Maserati of Indianapolis), the Master Technician is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position aims to build customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
  • Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs clearly to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers as required.
  • Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Keep store management informed of mechanical repair issues as they occur.
  • Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
  • Self-starter with a process-driven approach preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Must be 18 years or older to comply with company driving policy.
