AutoSavvy in Richardson, Texas is seeking a Master Automotive Mechanic to identify and diagnose complex mechanical issues, using both visual inspection and computer diagnostics. You will perform routine maintenance, repair components such as brakes and transmissions, and verify repairs with tests and test drives; requires 6+ years of technician experience and strong ADAS/hybrid system skills.

• Experience diagnosing electronics and drivability including ADAS, self-driving, and hybrid systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
• Perform tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brakes, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
• Perform tests, which may include test driving, to ensure repairs are complete.
